Hiut Denim recently asked me to illustrate an article by mountain climbing enthusiast Paul Deegan for their limited edition yearbook. There’ll only be 2000 printed of the 150 pager and its only a fiver! Nice.

I’m pleased to announce I’m showing some new work at Black Bear Cafe in Belfast over the Christmas break. The series is based on a nineteenth century instructional book on how to do some serious hand shadows. The work’s only up and available for one night so drop in, have a look, drink some wine and we’ll take it from there.
I’ve been developing a few characters for The Belfast Children’s Festival 2012. Here’s a sneaky peek.
Here’s a fresh piece for CLASH magazine. This months Write On feature has the genius songster and comic artist Jeffrey Lewis asking “What’s the difference between art and craft?” Hmmmm…. good one Jeff.
He’s able to explain in great detail how he draws a comic but can’t even begin to describe how he writes a song. Lewis’ conclusion being that a ‘craft’ can clearly be described as a step by step process and an ‘art’ the result of something slightly more mysterious…….
Oh no, I think I’m a craftsman!
